Accurate multitone and two-tone signal generation
Option 430 enables generation of multitone and two-tone signals from the front panel of the MXG. Use the internal baseband generator to create signals with up to 64 tones and excellent intermodulation distortion (IMD) performance.
Typical application
Multitone and two-tone test signals are recommended for characterization of components and receivers for communications systems. Use these signals to measure the intermodulation distortion of non-linear devices such as amplifiers and mixers.
This option can be added as a product upgrade.
