The VX4330 is a single-slot, C-size VXI module that provides signal scanning and multiplexing ideal for signal routing in automatic test system applications. It can be configured under program control to switch 1-, 2-, or 4-wire signal lines without manually inserted jumpers. Additionally, the VX4330 can be programmed either as a "break-before-make" scanner or as a multiplexer that allows multiple channels to be opened or closed simultaneously. The VX4330 consists of twelve 1x10 blocks of 2-wire scanner/multiplexers. Section relays allow these blocks to be joined to increase the number of 2-wire channels, or paralleled to create 4-wire channels. A de-multiplexing relay in each section provides 1-wire scanning. Users can program individual blocks of the VX4330 to provide 1-, 2-, and 4-wire configurations on a single module at the same time.
